The Knebworth
Collection For this collection the traditional designs and crafting methods have been adapted to produce furniture that reflects the influence of the period - yet accommodates TV's, Hi-fi's and CD storage - all of which are intrinsic part of today's modern home. The Knebworth collection is produced in both Mahogany and Yewtree veneers. Mahogany, with its rich warm colour was the predominant timber used in the Regency and Georgian era. Yew - a hard, resilient wood with soft red-brown colour and distinctive grain - was also popular. Yew is highly accepting of polish, giving it its instantly recognisable lustrous beauty. |
